not sure if i’ve mentioned this in a previous post, but after much contemplation we finally decided to spend easter in barcelona this year. i always try to make the most of bank holiday weekends because your girl ain’t getting enough corporate annual leave days to maintain sanity.

we did the same 2 years ago and hopped over to copenhagen which im sure will eventually become a series of posts because i loved it to bits! but yeah, barcelona all booked and in the diary, just a bit of itinerary planning and packing to go.

next up, my angel of boyfriend surprised me with the cutest friday night in and i couldn’t not recognize it here – look how very cute!

to break routine and do something different, we met up with some friends for dinner and a standup comedy show this past weekend. noci was our choice for dinner – an italian restaurant in islington. the food was good but not out of the world, everyone had high expectations and it didn’t help having planned this weeks ago – there was a lot more anticipation than the restaurant could deliver. overall, i’d still give it a 7/10. if you’re around the area and want to pop in, the beef shin ragu pasta is the one to order.

we ended the evening at angel comedy @ the bill murray – 10/10 investment and highlight of the night. 5 comedians including the mc and an audience of tipsy british people, the cards were perfectly set for a funny show!
