why do employees not get 3 months off for summer like students do? is there a petition for this i can sign?
corsica was stunning, but money doesn’t grow on trees and i have a job to get back to. here are some highlights from the last 9 days.
st florent
we spent the day in the beach town of st florent to celebrate the parents in law’s anniversary. dined at a beautiful restaurant called la marinuccia after a walk along the coast.
barbecue for portugal v czech (euros).
we went to the local butchers where i tried to flex my highschool french – it’s not so fun when you try to spit out a sentence that makes as much sense as you can in french and the butcher replies back in english. like, meet me halfway sir?
porto vecchio
beach, beach and beach. everywhere.
bastia
the loveliest port town with cute restaurants along the marina. café liégeois – an ice cream coffee drink i still dream of.
the view we woke up to everyday.
we’re going to miss frank’s family but back to the uk to grind it out at work and prepare for the second set of parents to visit over from dubai in 2 weeks.
