what i really need is a therapy session? what i really don’t have the money for is a therapy session. so we’re writing a blog post instead.

severance, season 2 – episode 7

a cinematographic masterpiece.

what comes before saturday and after thursday? severance day. my whole week revolves around this show.

• first & foremost, gemma – the face card girl!!
• what do you mean gemma is multi-severed on the testing floor?
• what do you mean she’s actually conscious down there, knows, breathes and feels every emotion of being sepearated from her husband?
• mark scout, the man you were before you “lost” your wife! stunning.
• cold harbor – gemma, they’re going to drown you in there?! run girl, run.
• mr milkshake ruining the whole episode, wearing the same clothes he was wearing during the episode of the overtime contingency?! so, gemma could’ve escaped if mark just chose a different day to bring the innie’s out?
• did lumon stage the accident?
• did gemma secretly & voluntarily sign up to be tested at the “fertility facility”?
• devon, what do you mean you want to call cobel? why are you on her side? are you working together? what’s going on….
• not the creepy dentist being a big fat liar and telling gemma that mark has remarried. the way i was shouting at my tv so gemma wouldn’t believe it (the girl didn’t hear me)
• the cinematography. the parallels. the shots, cuts & script.

i fear i will never get over this.
