writing this up during our 2h flight over to prague. last week was hectic, with a capital h.

i had a A* christmas do with the team, some good indian food which was highly unexpected

we each had the set dinner menu at darjeeling express, soho – incredible flavors and honestly such a great value for money. unfortunately it just wasn’t spicy enough for me so extra chopped green chilli was promptly requested.

i had the 🍗 methi chicken + 🥩 saag keema which came with all these:

aloo bonde + luchi + raita + dal + chutney + pulao + pickles + pappadum

and dessert was an assortment of ladoo, khoobani ka meetha & bhapa dai 🍮

talk about value for money!

👠 dinner was followed by some good old karaoke, closed down a few bars, missed 3 trains, 1 dead phone & a personal record of wearing heels for 18h straight. you bet i was glued to the bed for the whole weekend.

🧑‍🎄 yesterday’s secret santa was wholesome, the christmas playlist was on blast, gifts shared & most of us ready for the upcoming break.

🙃 i tend to get told off quite a lot because i book most my flights around 7-8pm on work days, work finishes at 5, it’s a 15 minute walk home & then a 40 minute drive to the airport. yes, sometimes i get there with 45 minutes to get to the gate, but it’s time efficient you know? why wait hours when you can get off a cab and get in a plane all within the hour. anyway, that’s what happened today and as always we made the flight and should be landing soon. i can’t wait!
