this week’s been very busy prepping for the next 7 days:
- t – 7 days: biggest work conference to date
- t – 5 days: i’m finally going to attend my much delayed graduation ceremony
- t- 3 days: my parents are flying in
major emphasis on my parents flying in. it’s the first time they’ve visited me here in the uk since i moved 5 years ago. it’s kind of scary. not to mention they will visit “us” – frank and i, in “our” flat. we’ve gone back home together several times so it shouldn’t be that bad but i guess being a long distance child, it becomes a whole different dynamic when they come over to “yours” for the first time. so it’s been deep clean central around here.
i bought a suit to wear for the graduation but we need to get it fitted so we went to the next city and made a day of it. couldn’t miss the opportunity for lunch at our favorite vietnamese spot.
i’ve also given into the air fryer madness. we got one the other day and life as we know it has not been the same.
